Basalt fabric is made of twisted or continuous basalt yarns. These fabrics are manufactured in different thicknesses, weights, weave patterns, widths, and weaving techniques according to end-use requirements.
They are widely used for structural purposes, for the construction of automobiles, airplanes, ships, and in the productions of skis, snowboards, kiteboards, and windsurfing equipment.
They can also be used for the production of soft and rigid covers, printed circuit for electronics, fire-resistant felts for suppression of extremely complex fires resulting from the ignition of highly flammable liquids, especially gasoline, reinforcement cables, internal and external repair of pipes and ducts.
